Abast awards the Abast scholarship to Óscar Domínguez, Morabanc Andorra Cadet player
In keeping with its commitment to supporting Andorran talent, and especially the country's children and young people, Abast has awarded the second edition of the Abast Scholarship. This scholarship covers the player's registration fee for the entire following season, providing over €400 and rewarding the values demonstrated by the players.
Abast aims to promote the values associated with sport, such as teamwork and commitment. In this case, the award went to Óscar Domínguez, a player in the cadet category, for his effort, humility, and adaptability demonstrated throughout his years playing at the club's youth level. Exceptionally, and given the circumstances, the scholarship was also extended to his brother Iván, who also plays for the club, and to his parents, for the respect and responsibility they have shown over the years.
Marc Urgell, managing partner of the firm, was in charge of handing over the scholarship, before the start of the first team's game against Club Joventut de Badalona, at the Pavelló Toni Martí and in front of thousands of people. “For us, it is essential to support young people and offer them every possible opportunity. We also see how sport can educate through values, and that is why we are committed to strengthening Andorran sport as a national project.” Urgell explains.
