  • The firm has celebrated a charity event with clients and collaborators in favor of AUTEA, the Autism Spectrum Disorder Association of Andorra

  • All proceeds will be allocated to its Enlace program, which offers tools and professional support for the development of the family project in homes with children with ASD.

The professional firm Abast raises more than €3,500 at its annual charity gala, this year in favor of the Autism Spectrum Disorder Association of Andorra. The final figure, still to be defined, thanks to the donations that were also made during the event, will be allocated to the AUTEA Enlace program.

This is a service that offers support to families with children diagnosed with ASD who need to enrich their parental skills and strategies to facilitate the development of their family project. During the school year, the family has weekly visits by the team's family educator and a coordination protocol is defined between the family educator and external reference professionals in order to offer comprehensive and coordinated care.

The gala, organized by Abast, had almost a hundred attendees, most of them clients and collaborators of the firm. Based on networking, it has brought the reality of autism spectrum disorder closer to the attendees, with the intervention of the president and vice president of AUTEA, as well as with the presence of families and children who are part of the association. In addition, a raffle of 13 lots was held for attendees and with a service of gastronomic products, both offered by the event's collaborators.

This solidarity event has been possible thanks to Morabanc, its sponsor. On the other hand, renowned business projects in the country have also wanted to take part as collaborators: BOMAR, Blót, Dona Secret, Grupo Pyrénées, Seuwagen, FC Andorra, Bàsquet Club Andorra and Grupo Kanalla.

“Abast not only wants to consolidate itself as a reference firm in the sector but also value the solidarity and CSR aspect that the company has had since its inception,” explains Marc Urgell, managing partner of Alcance. “We have a real involvement with society and through actions like this, among others, we want to contribute a small part of everything we have achieved during these years,” he concludes.

This is the second charity gala organized by the firm. The one held last year in favor of the Nuestra Señora de Meritxell Private Foundation (FPNSM) raised funds to buy two 3D printers, the foundation's first, and a scanner. With these innovative tools, the Foundation has been able to launch in 2023 the project of printing custom splints and adapters for its users, to promote the autonomy and quality of life of people with functional diversity.
