Abast will be a sponsor of the Andona Racing team, the first Andorran cycling team, made up of 13 women

• The firm is also a sponsor of the Andona club initiative, with 300 members, a social club where cycling and mountain sports are promoted.

The Abast group will be a sponsor in the 2024 season of the Andorran women's cycling team Andona Racing. This team, made up of 13 women from the country, will compete in Spanish tournaments such as the Spanish Cup and wants to achieve professionalization in the next three years. The firm's support will allow these athletes to have the resources to optimize their performance and be professional cyclists in the 2026 season.

On the other hand, the firm will also sponsor the Andona social and sports club, with more than 300 members in the country. This initiative brings together sport, leisure and social interaction and promotes cycling and other mountain sports among amateurs. Andona, with 70% members, aims to strengthen the practice of sport among women and create social ties through cycling. For this reason, it organizes periodic meetings and national and international sports outings for its members.

This sponsorship of Andona also wants to make women's sports visible and contribute to its professionalization, which we hope will happen in the coming years," explains Marc Urgell, managing partner of Abast.
